Melissa Berrocal, RD/MS/CDE
Owner, Registered Dietitian, Certified Diabetes Educator.
Melissa Berrocal is a Registered Dietitian and Certified Diabetes Educator with the American Diabetes Association. She has extensive experience in nutrition education for all ages, from prenatal care to geriatrics. She has worked with a variety of medical conditions and has experience creating corporate and pharmaceutical health initiatives.
Her private practice emphasizes the impact of communication and education to empower patients to take control of their health through nutrition. She believes in proper eating habits and physical activity for overall health and disease prevention. She has a passion for public speaking and community involvement. She is the author of Oliver's Belly Ache, a children's book focusing on the importance of forming children’s perception of food, nutrition, and food selections.
On her off time she loves being a baseball/softball Mom, Road Tripping, traveling, going for walks in the park, but Above all, she cherishes spending quality with her beautiful family.
Born in Puerto Rico, Maribel is a proud mother of twins and happily married, and a breast cancer survivor! She brings over 13 years of office administration experience.
Maribel attended college at "Universidad de Puerto Rico" where she received an Associates Degree in
Licensed Dietitian Nutritionist.
Jacqueline A. Colon is a Registered Dietitian and Licensed Dietitian Nutritionist, and graduate from Keiser University where she received a Bachelor of Science in Dietetics and Nutrition (BSDN).
Jacqueline’s passion is to help individuals overcome obstacles and reach their goals in living a healthier lifestyle by encouraging and providing medical nutrition-related knowledge. She specializes in diabetes counseling, weight management, and cardiac health but enjoys working closely with children as well as patients with various conditions. She believes motivating others with a positive attitude and patience is the key for a successful lifestyle change. She is enthusiastic in increasing awareness on disease prevention and takes pride of her work every day.
Carla Aponte has received a bachelor’s degree in Nutrition & Dietetics and a master’s degree in Public Health Education, both from the University of Puerto Rico.

Master's in Public Health, Registered Dietitian, Licensed Dietitian Nutritionist.
With 15 years of experience, Carla has worked providing medical nutrition therapy to people with different comorbidities, including: Diabetes Mellitus, Kidney Disease, Dyslipidemia, Cancer, Weight Loss, Pre/Post Bariatric Surgery, and many others. In addition, she has been working closely with patients diagnosed with Chronic Kidney Disease and undergoing dialysis since 2004. Carla is passionate about educating patients on nutrition and finding the diet that best fits their personal and medical needs.
Valentina is 18 years old, graduated high school from Divine Savior Academy and currently attends Florida
International University majoring in a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition and Dietetics with a minor in psychology on the pre-med track. Her dream is to study medicine and become a pediatrician.
She is a full time student and works with us part time/semi full time.
